Barron Partners, founded by Andrew Worden, invested over $500MM since 1992, including investments in steel mills and metal fabricators

Barron Partners started investing in Chinese manufacturing companies focusing on steel fabrication and renewables

Barron Partners’ management and private equity firm invests in IPP and EPC companies, building 10 solar power plants

Management learned and saw the equipment opportunity: existing suppliers had expensive and inefficient designs

Pioneering Innovation
Our team, with experience building 10 successful solar power plants, had gained invaluable insights into the solar business. However, during this process, we noticed several challenges. PV mounting structures were often overpriced, complex, and inefficient in terms of installation.
Engineering Excellence
Armed with our expertise in solar system installation, design, and metal fabrication, we assembled a high-quality engineering team. Together, we embarked on a mission to create some of the best-designed solar trackers and racking structures in the industry.
A Strategic Decision
Inspired by the vision of lowering solar energy costs, we founded GameChange Solar. Our commitment was clear: build innovative designs that emphasize simplicity and ease of installation without compromising quality. We aimed to reduce installation expenses while maintaining the strength and reliability of our solar racking and tracking systems.
Thinking Outside
the Box
We took an unconventional approach. Starting with a blank slate, we asked ourselves, “How do we do this with the least number of parts, and make the simplest, strongest, easiest to assemble, lowest-cost solar racks in the industry?” We then spent endless hours in the field working with solar installers, electricians, developers, and many experts to design our proprietary systems.
High-Volume Manufacturing
We have up to 55 Gigawatts of global manufacturing capacity. Our production lines are designed for precision automated manufacturing of quality parts in large volumes to be produced efficiently and cost-effectively. By minimizing scrap loss, we tackle the challenge posed by rising steel prices head-on.
